Cala Sinzias is a Caribbean beach composed of white and fine sand, about 1.7 km long and bordered by two picturesque cliffs. On the north side in the distance we can see the particular profile of the promontory of Monte Turno and Cala Marina, while to the south, in the wildest area, you can reach some picturesque cliffs. The beach is often beaten by the wind, which creates long waves creating funny waves that drag to shore, especially in the afternoon hours. In the central part the seabed is relatively low, gradual and safe and the waters are crystal clear and rich in life, suitable for families with children and divers. Heading inland, past some dunes and some bushes of Mediterranean scrub we find the pine forests, ideal refuge to find refreshment in the hottest hours of the day. In the interior the cove is full of residences; the most visible is definitely the Garden Beach, clearly visible from the beach with its large swimming pool. In the South there is a large equipped Camper area and a large paid parking area next to the road. Throughout the beach, but particularly on the North side, there are large trendy restaurants with all services and large equipped facilities. The waters have been marked by green schooner among the most limpid and uncontaminated of all Sardinia, so it is definitely worth a visit on your holiday! These forts were part of the "Front on the ground" of Cagliari, built in the middle of the war (1942-43) and that counted a total of 90 permanent posts grouped in Capisaldi. Around the hill there were about 15 forts, some are still visible while others are semi-destroyed, never completed or hidden by vegetation. In the video we counted 8 positions of different types, from casemates for automatic weapons to uncovered positions for automatic weapons with shelter and "well" positions like "Tobruk". The other cornerstones of the "Fronte a Terra" of Cagliari are still visible in Molentargius, at the mouth of the Rio Fangario (Santa Gilla), at Casa Pernis (V. Piero della Francesca), at Casa Zapata (Pirri), in the C.E.P. and on the hill of S. Elia. Their function was to block the road against both landings and attacks from the hinterland and today are of significant historical and artistic interest.
